NOTES:

Yarn support provided by We Crochet and it is perfect for this pattern. The yarn does the heavy lifting with the color changes creating a striped illusion.

This shawl is one of those magical shawls that is great for mindless repeat stitching and letting the beautiful yarn do the heavy lifting. I chose the We Crochet Chroma Worsted and it created a beautiful striped effect.

I added a small button to the corner as both a decorative feature and a functional way to keep cozy on cooler days. You can use any button you like. The one I used was 1” in diameter and slipped right through a stitch on the body of the shawl. This yarn is so stretchy when blocked that it suited the button feature perfectly.

Being able to include the Atlantic Shawl in the Perfect Picot Blog Hop is super exciting because there are such a wide variety of projects for every level of crocheter. Check them all out!
