Finishing Touch Yarn Wall Hanging

Make your own yarn wall hanging

SUPPLIES & MATERIALS:
Yarn: Bernat Suedish Yarn - 260 Yards
12” dowel rod
Scissors
1 Small Clover Pom Pom maker
1 Medium Clover Pom Pom maker
Large needle for tidying up pom pom ends

STEP 1: Make your Elements
Make 3 Small Pom Poms
Make 1 medium Pom Pom
Take Yarn and make 8 24” strips
Make 2 30” strand of yarn

STEP 2: Make your Wall Hanging

Using Lark’s Knot, create 3 groups of 6 of your 24” strands evenly across your dowel - leaving 1” on each outside portion 

Take your small Pom Poms and tie each group together halfway from the rod to the end of the strands 

Trim the strands AFTER you tie and lay flat to make sure they are even 

Take your 30” strand and wrap on side of the dowel then leave slack and wrap and tie to the other side of the dowel to create the hanging strand. 

Take your medium pom pom, tie it to the center of your hanging strand. 

Steam out the strands to hang flattest.
