Sunflower Knit Shawl Free Pattern

I am so excited for this guest design by Fiona Munro. Why? Well, because I love Sunflowers and because I love yellow and because I love indie designers. It is like I hit the trifecta when Fiona wanted to do this design for Stitch & Hustle. This stunningly beautiful shawl designed by Fiona Munro works up quickly and features a fabulous detail of beginner lacework. She used Hedgehog Fibers Merino DK for the design and I cannot imagine a better or more beautiful yarn for this shawl.

About the designer:
Fiona was taught to knit along with her two sisters by her grandmother when she was a young child. Twenty years later Fiona is still avidly knitting and now designing her own knitting patterns. She loves designing lace, fair isle, and texture designs and often gets her inspiration from nature.

Originally from a small island on the west coast of Canada, Fiona now lives and works in Scotland. Her two sisters help her with her designs even though they are geographically dispersed across Canada, England, and Scotland. You can find her at https://www.ravelry.com/designers/munro-sisters3 or @munrosisters3 on Instagram.
