DO I HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO KNIT OR CROCHET?
NO!!! Each year I am amazed and impressed by those who have never held knitting needles or a crochet hook and join us to learn and fall in love with fiber. We have experienced teachers on hand as well as community members there to help you get started on your fiber path. Truly if you want to learn, you are welcome to join us!
IS THIS ONLY FOR KNITTERS?
NO! While much of the event features knitting, we have a full crochet workshop Saturday and skilled crochet instructors and community members all weekend.
SHOULD I BRING MY WIP?
Sure! Why not? We provide a kit to make with ALL you need to make it at each event activity, however I never leave home without a wip or two and I know many of you don’t either! Bring it along!

Special thank you to our host LYS, Nina Chicago. Since the very first Stitch Up Chicago, Nina has welcomed us with open arms, fabulous treats and incredible yarn.
Stitch Up Chicago simply would not be possible without our incredible sponsors.
These are brands and people really invested in making the fiber community awesome. Not only would I like to thank them, but I’d like to encourage you to check them out.
