Welcome to the Third Annual Stitch & Hustle Blog Hop! This is so much fun and one of my favorite parts of hosting this blog. Once I year I get the honor of gathering some of my fellow bloggers and designers who inspire me to join together and celebrate crochet. I am so impressed every year how we can each take a single stitch and do so many different beautiful things with it showing off our vast creative talents. I am in love with everything that was created and designed for this year’s blog hop.

And a HUGE shout out of thanks to Lion Brand for supporting this project for the third year in a row and giving away such an incredible prize. Read about these fabulous designs and then enter to win ALL YOU NEED to make them from Lion Brand.

This year I selected the Spike Stitch for the themed stitch. I love how the Spiked Stitch can truly make a design different in so many ways. You can use it as an accent to bring a pop of color or you can use it as a main design feature to create a sort of mosaic look.

Our blog hop designers really showed off some major skills with these designs and imaginative ideas.

I love how this one stitch is used so many ways.

I decided to make the Gentry Cowl which is a two toned cowl that will keep you extra cozy as the weather gets cooler.

I LOVE How innovative Nicole of Naturally Nora Crochet was using the spiked stitch as a key design element of her berets.

Heidi of Hands Occupied won me over with her rainbow softies. I mean you all KNOW I am about a rainbow and these are too cute!

Jennifer of Crocheted Simplicity simply blew me away and made me want to plan my next trip to the desert or Coachella Wanderlust Backpack. I am all about this!
