Beachside Top Free Crochet Pattern

beach-side-crochet-top-free-pattern-stitch-and-hustle-5.png

Summer crochet is my favorite to make and wear to the beach and music festivals. I will toss something light and handmade over my swimsuit and instantly be fashionable for any event! The Beachside Top is designed with that in mind. It is open and airy and flowy and can be made for any size. I even made one as a bit of a dress once! I am so excited to share the pattern here with you for free.

Sizes: XS  (Small / Medium / Large / 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X)

SIZING NOTES:
This pattern is written for & shown in Adult Woman size X-Small.  (Sizes Small / Medium / Large / 1X / 2X / 3X / 4X in parenthesis)
This is meant to be a loose fitting item.
FINISHED FABRIC BEFORE ASSEMBLY: 20 (22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34)” diameter
How to know what size to make: Take the finished fabric diameter and multiply by 2. Then subtract 3. This will give you the bust circumference number. You can make whatever size to fit the way you want.

SIZE FORMULA:
Fabric Diameter x 2 =  Base Width
Base width - 3 = FINISHED BUST CIRCUMFERENCE
For Children I suggest the smallest size, as shown.

COLOR NOTES:
The pattern is written in rainbow colors. You can make this in a single color and just skip the color changes or make your own color scheme.
