Aplomb Peplum Top Free Crochet Pattern
/Ok community… this is HUGE!!!
I saw my dear friend Natalie of Detroit Knots sharing hints of this design a year ago on social media and immediately reached out to see how we could collaborate to bring it to the Stitch & Hustle community. A year later, lots of emails and texts and our friends at We Crochet joined in to provide yarn support and now…here we are. For YOU we present the Aplomb Peplum Top Free Crochet Pattern, your new summer fave crochet top to make!
It’s no secret that our love for Natalie of Detroit Knots is all over this blog (See here, here, here. Oh, and here.) And see Natalie’s full designer feature here. And scroll down for this amazing new design.
The Aplomb Peplum Top Free Crochet Pattern is brilliant in construction as it works up FLAT but you would never know it with Natalie’s magic seaming style and it is a great way to enter the world of making garments.
The Aplomb Peplum Top Free Crochet Pattern features CotLin - one of my favorites from the Knit Picks / We Crochet yarn family and I was elated when Natalie wanted to use it for this design. (Shout out to our We Crochet fam for providing yarn support for this design collaboration!)
Perfect for every level of crocheter and sized inclusively, the Aplomb Peplum Top Free Crochet Pattern literally flatters EVERY shape and figure style and doesn’t sacrifice in the design and shape to do so. WHAT?!?!?!
Natalie is a master at this and brought her A-game to making sure this design was size inclusive and stylish.

PATTERN NOTES:
This top is created with a sideways construction in one piece.
The top has 2-4 inches / 5.08-10.16 cm of positive ease.
The top is seamed together by using a connecting stitch on the last row. The shoulders are then mattress seamed.
A video tutorial of the connecting stitch used for seaming can be found here.
