Maple Spring Beanie Free Crochet Pattern

Ah Spring! Humid days when my hair just won’t behave. That is what inspired the Maple Texture Beanie. The perfect transitional season beanie and you can even add rows and customize this hat to suit your style! I love the way this beanie has a subtle texture and the illusion of a spiral stripe design.

PATTERN NOTES:

Gauge: 9dc x 4 dc rows = 4”
Finished Circumference: 21”
Finished length varies depending on how many rows you may add for slouch.
Pattern is written for 10” peak to brim.

*** A note about gauge on this pattern: It is not essential.
This is intended to be a slightly loose fitting Spring hat and therefore stitched loosley. If you find that you cannot meet gauge that is OK. You can use either a 6.5mm OR a 7mm crochet hook. You just want to go up a hook size for the brim.
