Oh Hello Circulo Yarns Cottons!

Oh it has been quite a long while since I have been this excited about a new yarn. New to me, if not new entirely, Circulo Yarns from Brazil has a big spot on my fiber shelf now and in my heart! This year they became a sponsor of Stitch Up Chicago so I got to share the cotton love with the whole Stitch Up Community!

They decided to send us their brand new Circulo Yarns In Love Bulky Cotton. I mean come on. You had me at bulky. And you had me at cotton! And everyone LOVED it! And me and my friend Tamara of Moogly Blog got together and we designed summer tote bags with the In Love Bulky cotton and you get the free patterns!

And as a special bonus, they sent Adriana Baiocco, their in house Artisan and designer to show off some of her fabulous designs with all the Circulo Cottons. She was a BIG hit and the dress she wore was literally the talk of Stitch Up!

Last year in June I was at the h+h Americas Trade Show for fiber industry professionals and I was fortunate enough to meet the team from Circulo Yarns in Brazil.

Now if you have followed this blog even for a minute or longer you know we LOVE cotton here. I have done extensive designs in cotton and reviews of cottons. Cotton fibers are my JAM! So of course I was aware of Circulo yarns because they are one of the most amazing providers of cotton fibers.

But I had no idea they had embarked into the USA territory and was so excited to find that out at the trade show. They gifted me a bag of a variety of their cottons to try out and every one was AWESOME! It was great to learn more about the company and their growth to the USA. But even with all of those amazing cottons, this new In Love Bulky is quickly one of my faves of all the cottons!

I think my favorite thing about the In Love bulky cotton is the tight twist in how it is spun. Sure it is super soft and like what I would imagine dancing on a cloud feels like - fluffy and airy - but the spin makes it so easy and fun to work with. It is a very high quality bulky cotton and I am already planning several projects to make with it!

Circulo sent us a variety of the pastel colors and it is perfect for summer style. I love the color palette they chose for this new yarn. I had so much fun designing my summer tote bag with it, I may make more in the other colors to match every style. Everyone had such a great response and us hosts of the event really enjoyed the chance to get to know and learn more about the brand as they grow in the USA.
