Start with a magic loop. If you do not know how to do a magic loop but want to learn, there are some great tutorials on youtube. If you do not want to use a magic loop you can chain 3 and slip stitch together.
Either in your magic loop or your chain circle:
ROW 1: Beg Row CS, CH1, *CS, CH1* repeat *to* 4 times then; sl st into top of Ch 2 from first PS to join together.
Total for row 1 is 5 CS
ROW 2: Ch3, *CS, CH1, CS, CH1 into next ch sp (NOT in CS but into ch 1 from previous row)* Repeat * to * around to end
In Last ch sp: CS, CH , End Row CS
Total for row 2 is 10 CS
ROW 3: Beg Row CS; then CH 1, PS in same ch sp to start row; then CH 1
CS, CH 1 into next ch sp
** CS, CH 1, PS, CH 1 into next ch sp; then PS into next ch sp*
Repeat * to * around to end then; sl st into top of Ch 2 from first PS to join together
Total for row 3 is 15 CS
ROW 4- 7: CS in each ch sp all way around following Odd & Even Row details
ROW 8-10: CH 1,sc all way around to end then sl st to top of ch 1
*** be sure not to pull too tight or this will effect the shape of the brim and make it smaller ***
Fasten off and use large needle to weave in ends.
Optional: Add Pom Pom
