Dragon Kounty Shawl Free Knitting Pattern
/Hello fellow shawl knitters! I’m so excited to share the Dragon Kounty Shawl knitting pattern here with you for free on the blog. There are so many features I love about this flowy knit shawl and the way it works up. It is fun to style and wear as much as it is to make.
I designed it a while back and I love taking the step to make it a part of my collection of free patterns for paired shawl designs for knit and crochet. (Pop over to that post if you don’t know what I’m talking about but make sure to come back to look at this newest pattern.)
AND this is another pattern featuring gorgeous Asylum Fibers yarn. If you’ve been around the blog, you know that we are tried and true fans of that fabulous fiber. (There’s almost too much proof to link but check out this, this, and this!)
This pattern is perfect for those knit-and-chill moments. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned pro, you’ll find it a breeze to work on. It’s all about having fun and seeing your beautiful yarn come to life.
Why You’ll Love the Dragon Kounty Shawl Free Pattern:
-Those Mohair Panels: First off, this shawl has these delicate mohair panels that are just dreamy. They add a little something extra to the look, don’t you think?
-Fun Wavy Edges: The edges on this shawl? Curvy and playful - a total eye-catcher!
-Easy Start: We’ve got a garter tab start in there, which is cool because it helps the shawl lay nicely in a half-circle instead of pulling into a crescent shape. Trust me, it makes a difference!
-Gauge? What Gauge?: Best part? You don’t have to stress about gauge. Seriously, just relax and knit. Let’s not get all uptight about it - loose stitches are your friends here. I know I cannot believe I said it either - but it is the beauty of this shawl pattern.
-Let Your Yarn Shine: This pattern is all about letting the yarn be the star. It’s a chance to play around and see how your yarn choice transforms the shawl.
