It’s never too early for holiday prep in the world of handmade right? So while we are enjoying the last fabulous days of summer, we wanted to help you get a jump on your handmade holidays with this special Round Up - Christmas Prep Free Crochet Pattern Round Up!

Just when we are enjoying the pool or beach, cookouts, amusement parks, the farmer's market or maybe your own garden someone comes along and reminds us that the holidays are only a few months away!  Don’t look at the calendar, just trust us. 1.  First up we have this adorable crochet snowman dishtowel to give your kitchen a fun winter theme by A Crocheted Simplicity.  Wouldn't this be the perfect touch when you're baking Christmas cookies or making eggnog?

2.  Amigurumi  Penguins!!! You know there's someone on your Christmas list who would just adore adding these to their winter decor.  Thoresby Cottage brought all the cuteness with these little guys and we are smitten! These would be a fun rainy day or on the go  project so gather your supplies and pattern and make these cuties.

4.  Gift cards are almost always a winner but they can feel a little last minute or impersonal.  So, why not add a little fun gift card cozy crochet sweater using this free pattern by Knitter Knotter to give your gift card giving a handmade twist!  Another great way to use of some of those stash scraps that we all have - can you say striped tiny sweater!!!

6.  When the chilly weather sets in one of the first things we reach for is our beanie and this textured beanie pattern is one of our faves. We happen to love the red and white combo here because it's reminiscent of that jolly old elf but this pattern is great in any color for guys and gals.   We do want to stay on his Nice List and there's not much nicer than a handmade gift!
